Arkansas DHS warns of upcoming ‘delay or disruption’ in SNAP benefits: What to know

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the Arkansas Department of Human Services said SNAP recipients may have trouble with their benefits come November.

Officials said that the government shutdown “may prevent November benefits from being issued on time.” They added that they have requested additional guidance from the program administrator, the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
