Arkansas nurses face rising violence, call for stronger protections

Violence against nurses in Arkansas has reached alarming levels, with more than two-thirds of the state’s nurses experiencing some form of violence, according to new data from the Arkansas Center for Nursing.

A recent survey revealed that 40% of nurses report physical violence from patients, while 63% report verbal abuse.
