Downtown traffic jam as hundreds line up for MLK Commission Food Giveaway

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — Amid delays and uncertainty surrounding SNAP benefits, the Arkansas Martin Luther King Jr. Commission on Thursday hosted a pre-Thanksgiving food giveaway in Little Rock, and cars were lined up around the block.

The MLK Commission says they stopped counting cars at the giveaway when they hit a thousand.
