Arkansas Health Survey shows higher-than-average use of tobacco in Arkansas adults

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The University of Arkansas’ (U of A) recently completed Arkansas Health Survey showed that nearly one in four Arkansans used tobacco in the last 30 days.

The Arkansas Health Survey reported that 24.1% of Arkansas adults used tobacco in the last 30 days. The national average is around 18.1%, as reported by the Centers for Disease Control.
