Conway Public Schools continues search for new superintendent | Here are the finalists

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Conway Public Schools has narrowed its list of candidates to serve as the district’s new superintendent, after removing the previous superintendent, Jeff Collum, back in June.

On Tuesday, officials with the district stated that the Conway Public Schools Board of Directors had shortened the list down to four finalists after having reviewed and scored 16 applicants from eight different states.

The four finalists for the position of Conway School District superintendent include:

  • Jennifer Barbaree, Ed.D., Superintendent, Pine Bluff School District
  • Jason Black, M.Ed., Interim Superintendent, Conway Public School District
  • Tamekia Brown, Ed.D., Executive Director, Elementary, Waco ISD (Waco, TX)
  • Bruce Gearing, Ed.D., Superintendent, Leander ISD (Leander, TX)
