The Arkansas State Police’s war on drugs continues in a big way. The state troopers made a routine traffic stop Monday morning and it led to a massive drug bust along Interstate 40.

It took place around 10:30 AM. on Monday, November 17. The troopers pulled over a tractor-trailer near the 173-mile marker eastbound in Lonoke County for a traffic violation.
Arkansas State Police Find Massive Amount of Illegal Drugs in Truck
During the search of the trailer, the troopers found four pallets of cardboard boxes and what was in those boxes? Illegal drugs, loads of them. In total, they seized 960 pounds of marijuana, 1,000 pounds of THC products, and 27 pounds of synthetic marijuana. Troopers also found a firearm inside the truck’s sleeper compartment.
The driver was 37-year-old Tobias Xavier Taylor of Richmond, Virginia. He was taken into custody and transported to the Lonoke County Detention Center. Taylor now faces several alleged felony charges, including Trafficking a Controlled Substance, Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, Unauthorized Use of Another Person’s Property to Facilitate Certain Crimes, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia…
