Winter weather advisory Monday for portion of area as freezing rain, sleet and snow expected
The National Weather Service in North Little Rock has issued a winter weather advisory for a portion of north central Arkansas starting Monday morning at 6:00 and running through Tuesday morning at 6:00. The advisory includes Baxter, Fulton, Izard and Stone counties. The advisory says light mixed precipitation is expected during that time frame which will cause hazardous driving conditions.
Meteorologist Colby Pope with the National Weather Service in North Little Rock says we can expect all types of winter precipitation beginning early tomorrow morning.
