LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A new set of anti-litter displays is coming to Arkansas highways.
This project is part of an effort by the Arkansas Department of Transportation to spotlight the growing cost of roadside trash, officials said.
According to a spokesperson, you will notice a rotating blue highway sign beginning the week of Dec. 8, each carrying a pointed message: “ARDOT spends over $8 million per year combatting litter.” A second one will say, “Are you part of the problem or the solution?” The third sign will read, “Please help us keep Arkansas natural.”
