LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Due to bitterly cold temperatures predicted for Sunday, central Arkansas officials have announced the opening of temporary overnight emergency shelters.
The Little Rock shelter will be open from 6 p.m. Sunday until 9 a.m. Monday at Dunbar Community Center, located at 1001 W. 16th St.
Officials said the temporary shelter is available to anyone in need of a safe, warm and dry place to stay overnight as the current National Weather Service forecast calls for a low of 18 degrees.
