JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT/Gray News) – A mom in Arkansas traveled more than 1,500 miles to receive her college degree.
Katelyn Wittman completed her online coursework through Arkansas State to earn her master’s degree in mass media management, all while becoming a new mom and working full-time.
“When we were searching, I was talking to the recruiter and he told me about the benefits and how the program works and I was like, ‘I can do this,’ and I did it in a year,” Wittman said.
Wittman said she wanted her son and parents to witness the milestone moment. The trip also gave Wittman her first opportunity to see the campus and meet her classmates in person…
