Mosaic Templars to host Kwanzaa celebration

MAUMELLE, Ark. — A day of culture, creativity and community is coming to downtown Little Rock.

The Mosaic Templars Cultural Center announced that it will host a public Kwanzaa celebration on Tuesday, Dec. 31, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., inviting families and community members to mark the holiday together.

Kwanzaa, a weeklong cultural observance established in 1966, honors African American heritage through seven guiding principles known as the Nguzo Saba, officials said.
