Shorter College Gardens tenants speak out amid apartment troubles

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Residents of Shorter College Gardens in North Little Rock spoke out about their experience renting at the complex Wednesday.

In November, the city of North Little Rock began the process to condemn the complex after tenants reported living with unclean water and deterioration. Just a day after, Attorney General Tim Griffin opened an investigation into the apartment complex.

In addition to speaking about their renting experience, the tenants also spoke about the help they are expecting to receive to relocate before their utilities are shut off on Dec. 29.
