ARKANSAS, USA — Nonprofits across Arkansas are receiving a significant financial boost as Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders announced over $15 million in community assistance grants.
The funding will help 40 organizations statewide continue providing essential services to children, families, and victims of crime.
Among the recipients are several nonprofits in Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley, including the Children’s Safety Center of Northwest Arkansas, rape crisis programs in Johnson and Washington counties, the Hamilton Center in Fort Smith, and the Morgan Nick Foundation.
