DENVER (KDVR) – Veronica Suazo has worked in animal care for a handful of years, but what she saw on Christmas morning was a first.
“I was just a little emotional,” said Suazo, who works at the Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital just outside of Denver.
That day, Suazo said a good Samaritan walked into the animal hospital with a bunch of envelopes containing cash. He then told her he was going to “hang out” for a few hours and pay the examination fees for any pet owners coming to the emergency room…
