LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Wind gusts caused by a strong cold front pushing through the Natural State on Sunday left over 10,000 customers in the state without power including over 7,000 in Pulaski County.
On Sunday morning, officials with the National Weather Service’s Little Rock office issued a Wind Advisory for the entire state.
As part of the advisory, officials said wind gusts from the southwest up to 45 mph were expected with sustained winds up to 15-25 mph. Officials at the Little Rock airport picked up a 51 mph wind gust around 5:40 p.m. Sunday.
