There is very little in the world today that truly merits the term “one of a kind,” but Funky Stretch Pizza, a new pizza restaurant soon to open in North Little Rock’s Argenta Arts District, promises to be the rare exception. Equal parts passion project, cultural education and culinary master class, Funky Stretch Pizza will combine flavors and influences seldom experienced in Arkansas, if not the region.
Chef and co-owner Brayan McFadden, who for the past five years has wowed diners at nearby Brood & Barley, said he is excited to finally bring the concept to life.
“We love Argenta. I mean, we fell in love with this town, and it’s booming right now,” the Philadelphia transplant said. “The building where we’re opening Funky Stretch we’ve had for almost three years now. When this building popped up, we jumped on it right away because we knew we wanted to have another concept in town.”…
