In January 2004, Judge Bob Castleman Jr. was in court but not behind the bench. The retired judge and his son, Jerrod, were facing federal charges. A few years earlier, they oversold a vehicle to their Pocahontas neighbors. The Stantons balked at the number of needed repairs. It became more than a brawl of words when, in June 2001, 16-year-old Jerrod and his red Chevy Blazer ripped doughnuts through the Stantons’ lawn.
