Arkansas eliminates state grocery tax as residents notice savings

TRUMANN, Ark. (KAIT) – Arkansas residents are already noticing savings at grocery stores after the state’s 0.125% grocery tax was eliminated on New Year’s Day.

Local shoppers said they could see the difference at checkout, even just two days into the new year.
