Little Rock church shines gospel light through raising banners for Jesus

Members of Little Rock Immanuel Chinese Baptist Church have been raising banners for Jesus.

Since last year, on certain Saturdays and Sundays, they have been standing outside Mr. Chen’s Oriental Supermarket on University Drive in Little Rock, Arkansas. They hold various signs proclaiming, “Jesus is Lord,” “Jesus saves me,” and “We can pray for you,” written in three languages — Chinese, English and Spanish. They also distribute gospel tracts, candies and other items.

Pastor Chunhai Li said it is just one way they evangelize and share the gospel with their community. They use the five-colored beads to explain the gospel. The black, red, white, green and yellow beads represent sin, the cross, cleansing, new life and heaven, respectively. He said many parents bring their children to participate, so that from a young age they can be trained to share the gospel for Jesus and to be His disciples…
