LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Arkansas Highway Police will begin using new camera technology in interstate work zones to detect drivers using handheld devices, expanding enforcement beyond speeding violations.
The cameras, already used to monitor speed in work zones, will begin detecting handheld device use by mid-January, officials said.
