WYNNE, Ark. – Officials with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission said the first catch of its Legacy Lunker program came out of Village Creek State Park last Saturday.
Officials said Kevin Riney of Jonesboro caught a 12.04 largemouth bass in the park’s Lake Austell.
Riney called the Legacy Lunker Hotline at 833-948-2277 as soon as he caught the fish, officials said, prompting AGFC program coordinator Will Lancet to head to Lake Austell to process the catch.
