Scout Stubbs, a Greenbrier small business owner and born Arkansan, has announced her candidacy for Arkansas State Representative in District 42, campaigning on a platform centered on smaller government, less regulations, and lower taxes.
Stubbs says her campaign reflects her personal journey from working a minimum-wage job to building a successful retail business with her husband over the past 12 years.
“I’m not a career politician or a political insider,” Stubbs said. “I’m a regular Arkansan who understands the challenges and dreams of everyday people. The only obstacles I’ve faced have been those created by government. If elected, I will work for the people in my district, not the political elite and special interest groups in Little Rock.”…
