ARKANSAS — Dangerous winter conditions including snow, ice and hazardous travel have prompted numerous school districts across Arkansas to cancel classes for Monday, January 26, 2026, as communities continue to cope with the effects of a powerful winter storm.
Several larger districts in northwest Arkansas confirmed closures for Monday, including Springdale Public Schools, Fayetteville Public Schools, Rogers Public Schools, Gentry Schools, Fort Smith Public Schools and Bentonville schools.
