Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration waives vehicle registration late fees, extends office hours in response to weather closures

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration said it is waiving vehicle registration late fees and extending hours of some offices to compensate for the winter-weather closures in the state.

Officials said anyone whose vehicle registration expired the week of Jan. 25 will not have to pay a late fee if they renew prior to Feb. 6.

DFA will extend the hours of several Revenue Offices next week. The following offices will remain open until 6 p.m. each day: Van Buren, Fayetteville, Bentonville, Springdale, Fort Smith East, Jonesboro, Paragould, Batesville, Mountain Home, Cabot, White Hall, Pine Bluff, West Memphis, Monticello, Texarkana, Benton, Hot Springs Albert Pike, El Dorado, West Little Rock, Conway, Sherwood, Searcy and Russellville.
