State waives vehicle registration late fees, extends revenue office hours after winter closures

LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration is waiving vehicle registration late fees and extending the hours of several revenue offices in the state to make up for several weather-related closures last week.

The state said anyone whose vehicle registration expired at the end of January will not have to pay a late fee if they renew prior to this Friday.

Several state revenue offices, including those in Jonesboro, Paragould, Batesville, Pine Bluff, and West Memphis, will also be open through 6 p.m. each day this week…
