Man sentenced to more than a decade in Arkansas prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A man has now been sentenced to more than a decade in prison after he was convicted of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

According to reports, an investigation into a man identified as 37-year-old Bertoldo Alcaraz-Ortuno of Guerrero, Mexico, showed that after receiving a tip that Alcaraz-Ortuno was a source of supply, officers went to his known residence and spoke with him.

Alcaraz-Ortuno admitted that he had a kilogram of methamphetamine in his shed. Officers also got a search warrant for the property, and they found 1,726 grams of methamphetamine, a .40 caliber firearm in the shed, a 9mm firearm, and $10,445 in Alcaraz-Ortuno’s wallet…
