BCMC named Most Socially Responsible Critical Access Hospital in AR

Bradley County Medical Center has been recognized by the Lown Institute for outstanding performance, earning the No. 1 ranking in Arkansas for social responsibility and receiving “A” grades across multiple categories in the 2025-26 Lown Institute Hospitals Index.

BCMC ranked No. 1 among 19 critical access hospitals in Arkansas and 88th nationally for social responsibility, reflecting strong performance across more than 800 critical access hospitals evaluated nationwide. According to the Index, Bradley County Medical Center also received “A” ratings in Health Equity, Value of Care, Inclusivity, and Cost Efficiency. The Lown Institute Hospitals Index is an independent assessment, and hospitals do not apply or pay to be included.
