Arkansas Game and Fish Commission releases 2026 Fishing Guidebook, changes to trout and Lake Monticello regs

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission said the agency has released its 2026 Arkansas Fishing Guidebook.

Officials said this year’s guidebook is available at bait shops and license dealers and can also be downloaded at AGFC.com/Guidebooks. The 2026 regulations include some changes, notably to trout and Lake Monticello, they said.

The book includes illustrations of the most popular game fish in the Natural State, officials said, as well as a section on Arkansas trout waters, including maps.
