Flu numbers surging in Twin Lakes Area, Arkansas again

If you or someone you know has had the flu lately, you’re not alone. Flu numbers in the Twin Lakes Area and around the state of Arkansas are surging once again according to local and state officials.

The latest report from the Arkansas Department of Health shows the flu level is very high in the state for the week ending Jan. 31. There are 13 levels on the chart and the latest report was at number 11. No average school absenteeism numbers were available due to school closures for weather.

The previous week, the flu level was in the high range, or eight out of 13.
