North Little Rock family business opens back up after months of being closed down after fire

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Cary’s Grill and Bar had been closed for four months after a business next door had a fire that caused smoke and soot to cover the entire inside of the restaurant. The co-owner of Cary’s Grill and Bar was Terrell Sanders, who explained how the fire from another business affected their own.

“The building adjacent to us next door, it’s a beauty salon, uh, we shared a fire, we shared a firewall. So, the fire happened next door,” Sanders said.

Downtown Benton building collapses, multiple others damaged

During those four months they were closed, the family worked on deep cleaning the place, along with getting everything up to standards.

“Dealing with the insurance company and the health department, code enforcement people, the building next door, you know, uh, it’s not complete, you know, but you know, we got to the point to where we can get the air quality to the point to where it is, you know, it’s safe for the public,” Sanders said…
