Multiple arrested after Arkansas State Police seize over 775 pounds of illegal drugs

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Arkansas State Police (ASP) announced that their troopers seized over 775 pounds of illegal narcotics and arrested multiple people during a series of recent traffic stops throughout the state.

On Wednesday, February 17 around 4:15 p.m., ASP troopers stopped a gray sedan on I-40 eastbound near Crawford County for a traffic violation.

Authorities searched the vehicle and said that they found around 45 pounds of illegal marijuana that were in vacuum-sealed packages in the trunk…
