It’s that time of the year when Arkansas goes through a big temperature whiplash period. One week it’s cold, the next it’s warm, and sometimes that flip happens in just a couple of days, like we’re seeing right now. Thursday we were experiencing upper 70s, and then today, just a day later, we’re much cooler with highs in the 50s, and temperatures will struggle to get out of the 40s both Saturday and Sunday with freezing temps overnight.
And that’s the theme as we head through the next couple of weeks. These swings are normal for late February into March around here. But I know the big question is, what happens as we head into March? As we wrap up the month, warmer temperatures should build back in by the middle to end of next week. After that, guidance has been hinting at another push of colder air as we get into the first week of March, more of a quick cold snap than anything…
