Little Rock apartments damaged after overnight fire breaks out

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – An overnight fire left units at Fairfield Apartments in Little Rock destroyed and families without homes.

The fire broke out around midnight at the apartment complex located on Green Mountain Drive.

Residents say they woke up to a loud boom before flames took over part of the apartment complex. One resident recalled the fire starting small and quickly spreading.
