The opening date for the first Arkansas location of Rotolo’s Craft & Crust is getting closer. Blaire Bobo, franchisee with her husband, Taylor, said the Conway location is set to open in late April or early May.
“Rotolo’s was started in 1996, so this is the 30-year anniversary year,” she said. “There’s some fun things that marketing’s doing, as well, with the brand, so we’re just excited to be opening in Conway on that anniversary year, and I think that we have a lot to bring to the community.”
She and her husband, both Louisiana natives and graduates of Louisiana State University near the site of the original Rotolo’s, invested in their first Rotolo’s in 2016.
“We were the first ones to bring a Rotolo’s to Tennessee and, I think, the first ones to bring one to Mississippi, as well, so we kind of have been some trailblazers a little bit with the brand as far as going in new areas, and we’re looking forward to [the Arkansas location],” Taylor said. “We’re excited about the Conway market. Everything that we’ve heard about it and experienced with it, it’s a pretty strong market.”
Located at 2555 Prince St. just off Tucker Creek Trail, the restaurant will have an outdoor patio to cater to cyclists and pedestrians, he added. Rotolo’s will offer various kinds of pizzas, including a Detroit style and a Chicago cracker-thin pizza, as well as calzones, salads, a wine list, a full bar and an extensive selection of draft beer.
“It’s a great family environment, but it’s also somewhere that you can go and have a date night or a girls night,” Blaire said. “There’s something for everybody on the menu.”…
