One of central Arkansas’ favorite florists is about to get even bigger. Norwood-Day Floral Co. in Little Rock is expanding to encompass the neighboring storefront in the Tanglewood Shopping Center. Co-owner Christina Day-Essary said the expansion will more than triple the size of the shop.
“We’re so excited,” she said. “We’ve only been open in this location a little over a year, and so we’re so thankful that we’re already expanding more.”
The expansion, which will take place over the course of three or four weeks, will involve cutting an 8-foot-by-8-foot opening between the existing storefront and its neighbor, providing more space for retail and design.
“There’s no room in the inn in the back,” Co-owner Chris Norwood said. “With these large events, there’s no place to get ahead of the game, so now we’ll be able to get our events going and not be totally behind all the time.”…
