The average price of regular unleaded gasoline in Arkansas increased by double digits over the past week.According to GasBuddy, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded in the Natural State rose 18.5 cents to $2.58 per gallon as of Monday. The current average is also 17.3 cents higher than prices reported one month ago.
Nationally, the average price of gasoline also increased, rising 5.6 cents per gallon during the past week to $2.94. The increase marks the fourth consecutive week the national average has climbed.
