Conway RV dealer arrested, facing felony theft charges

CONWAY, Ark. – Officials with the Conway Police Department said an area businessman has been taken into custody and is facing felony charges.

Officials said 47-year-old Chris Block of Damascus was taken into custody on Thursday by police after they executed a search warrant at his business. Block is the owner of Superior RV in the city and is facing three counts of felony theft of property, they added.

Officials said CPD detectives received reports of Superior RV customers who consigned campers or trailers to the business and did not receive payment when the consignment was sold. In other cases, they added, customers who purchased from the business never received proper titles or other paperwork.

Records show that Block was released from the Faulkner County Detention Center on a $22,500 bond.

Detectives told officials that other victims of fraud may exist who have not filed paperwork with the department. If anybody feels they have been defrauded by Block or Superior RV, they should contact the CPD at 501-450-6120 to file a report, they said…
