US Marshals Service task force makes 24 arrests, serves 66 warrants in multi-day Arkansas operation

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the U.S. Marshals Service Eastern Arkansas Fugitive Task Force said they made arrests and cleared warrants in the northeastern part of the state in an operation that ran from March 9 – 13.

Officials said Operation Steel Resolve resulted in 24 fugitive arrests and the clearing of 66 warrants. The operation was coordinated with federal, state and local law enforcement partners, they added.

This multi-day operation focused on identifying, locating, and apprehending violent offenders and high-risk fugitives with outstanding warrants, officials said.

Authorities said agents cleared a series of serious and violent warrants, including six homicide‑related charges, 23 aggravated assault and battery charges, two sexual assault charges, seven firearm‑related offenses, six drug‑related offenses and 22 additional felony and misdemeanor counts…
