JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Several Northeast Arkansas counties issued burn bans Sunday in response to dry and windy conditions.
As of 8:30 p.m. Sunday, the following counties have issued burn bans:
- Greene County
- Clay County
- Independence County
- Jackson County
- Izard County
- Sharp County
- Fulton County
According to the Arkansas Forestry Division, all of Northeast Arkansas is at moderate-to-high risk of wildfire.
