A high-speed chase in Arkansas on Interstate 530 on Monday morning ended in a crash near Redfield, but thankfully, no serious injuries were reported.
Deputies Request Assistance From The Arkansas State Police
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office , deputies requested assistance from the Arkansas State Police around 11:15 AM on March 23, 2026, after a suspect fled northbound on the interstate.

Authorities identified the driver as Deandre Brothers , 29, who was wanted on charges including terroristic threatening, aggravated assault, and resisting arrest.
Arkansas Police High Speed Pursuit Reaches 125 MPH
Arkansas Troopers took over the pursuit around 11:30 AM, with speeds reaching up to 125 mph and several close calls with other drivers along the way. The chase came to a stop near the Redfield exit when a trooper performed a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI).
During the maneuver, the suspect’s vehicle crossed the median into the southbound lanes and struck a van driven by a civilian. Fortunately, that driver was not injured.
Suspect Apprehended, Investigation Ongoing in Arkansas
After the crash, Brothers attempted to run but was quickly taken into custody by deputies. A passenger in his vehicle was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. No officers were hurt.
