Compassion Center serves hundreds, offers hope on Easter Sunday

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — The Little Rock Compassion Center opened its doors Easter Sunday to serve hundreds of people in need, offering meals, community and a message of hope during the holiday.

Dozens of volunteers helped prepare and serve brunch and dinner, providing what many attendees called a much-needed meal.

“Today was a good day, came in, it’s Easter, very hungry,” said James Frank Karthrone. He added he was grateful for the effort behind the event, saying he appreciates “Pastor Holloway for putting his passion into helping the community.”…
