USDA deems 67 Arkansas counties natural disaster area due to drought, emergency loans available

LONOKE, Ark.- The ongoing drought has crippled farmers across Arkansas, but relief is on the way.

The United States Department of Agriculture recently deemed 67 counties in Arkansas a natural disaster area, and has opened applications for FSA emergency loans to help farmers recoup some of their losses.
