Mabelvale man sentenced to 10 years in federal prison for firearm possession

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KAIT) – A Mabelvale man who had just completed supervised release after serving 39 months in federal prison for being a felon in possession of a firearm is heading back to prison after a second federal conviction on the same charge.

Tracy Daniels, 34, will spend 10 years in federal prison, according to Jonathan D. Ross, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas. United States District Judge Lee P. Rudofsky handed down the sentence Friday.

A federal grand jury indicted Daniels in a four-count indictment for being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, and possession with intent to distribute cocaine…
