Organization works to train people in overdose emergencies

Over the past four-plus decades, Wolfe Street Foundation has been a fixture in the continuum of recovery resources in central Arkansas. A leading Recovery Community Organization, the foundation provides accessible, non-clinical support including peer recovery support services, recovery support meetings, youth programming and sober celebrations and events.

While Wolfe Street doesn’t provide direct treatment or clinical services, its programs nonetheless host 80,000 visits each year and that kind of reach keeps leadership on the lookout for other ways to augment and support the recovery journey of the people it serves.

This resulted in Wolfe Street being an early adopter of the Arkansas Opioid Recovery Partnership (ARORP) HERO Project, by which community organizations and first responder agencies can access ARORP’s Arkansas Naloxone Bank.
