JACKSONVILLE, Ark. — The Jacksonville Police Department is now investigating after a young boy was shot and killed on Sunday.
According to reports, on May 17, 2026, at about 7:30 p.m., officers were called with reports of shots that had been fired in the 4000 block of South Highway 161.
