Colorado Connections Academy honored approximately 364 graduates, including students from Kit Carson County, during a traditional commencement ceremony May 27, 2026, at Magness Arena at the University of Denver.
Eastern Colorado graduates included Jasmine Arthur and Alyssa Mulholland, both of Stratton in Kit Carson County. The tuition-free online public school serves students statewide in grades K-12.
Among the Class of 2026, 27 percent plan to attend two- or four-year colleges or universities, including Arizona State University, Colorado State University, Hawaii Pacific University, New York University, and Texas Tech University. Another 24 percent plan to enter the workforce, while others plan to pursue vocational training, military service, performing arts pathways, or a gap year.
