DENVER (KDVR) – FOX31 has learned that popular waterpark Water World has been shut down for the remainder of the day on Saturday.
Federal Heights Police say they are currently responding to a ‘potential threat’ at the park and that everybody is urged to immediately evacuate the area. A reunification point is available at Camenisch Park for parents.

Water World confirmed on Facebook that a reported emergency prompted the park to ask guests to exit, and the Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District confirmed to FOX31 as well that there was an unverified threat.
