DENVER (KDVR) — A grass fire that burnt half an acre near Ken Caryl and C-470 and forced a daycare center to evacuate has resulted in dozens of counts against an accused arsonist, according to West Metro Fire Rescue.

Fire investigators identified Cisco Lindt, 28, as the person who set the fire in the 12600 block of West Indore Place in Jefferson County on Jan. 12.
The fire was set close to The Nest School at Ken Caryl, where 50 children and 16 staff members were when the fire was ignited. All 66 individuals were able to get out safely and took shelter next door at West Metro Station 13, according to the agency.
While it does not appear that official charges have yet been filed in the courts, West Metro Fire Rescue reported that Lindt faces 69 felony counts, including:
- One count of fourth-degree arson (property endangered)
- Sixty-six counts of fourth-degree arson (persons endangered)
- One count of intentionally setting wildfire
- One count of reckless endangerment
