Denver International Airport hosting a puppy bowl over Super Bowl weekend

DENVER ( KDVR ) — The Super Bowl is next weekend, which means non-football fans will be tuning into the Puppy Bowl, snacking in front of the TV and watching puppies play on a mini-football field.

Meanwhile, travelers at the Denver International Airport will have the chance to attend a Puppy Bowl in person.

On Friday, Feb. 9 from 10 a.m. to noon, DIA will be hosting the 8th annual DEN Puppy Bowl in the main terminal.

“This year’s event promises to be ‘paws-itively’ the best as adorable puppies go nose to nose in a playful competition to win your hearts,” the airport said in a release Friday.

Puppies will be having a ball doing puppy things and “ruff-housing” in the mini arena in the center of the Jeppesen Terminal on level 5 near arrivals.

The event is open to the public and will be streamed live on the airport’s Facebook page .
