DENVER (KDVR) — After Saturday’s snowstorm, the Wheat Ridge Police Department said even llamas were enjoying the fresh Colorado snow.
Several inches piled up across the Denver metro area, and some mountain towns got over a foot of snow .
Sunday, the sun came back out and some llamas in Wheat Ridge got excited.

“Three llamas in southeast Wheat Ridge were so eager to play in the snow this morning, they got out of their fence,” WRPD said in a post .
The llamas, named Sofia, Tina and Napoleon, got to hang out with Wheat Ridge police officers.
WRPD said the llamas were returned home.
